Career Services helps students prepare for their careers through career advising appointments, workshops, events, and connecting students to employers and work-based experiences.

Career Advising Appointments

Career Services offers two types of appointments:

1.  Appointments that assist students in aligning their career goals to a major or academic program.  Appointments include:

• Choosing a Major
• Exploring Careers

2. Appointments that help students with job seeking skills.  Appointments include:

• Resume & Cover Letter Writing Help
• Finding Jobs
• Interview Preparation
• Internships & Work-based Experiences
• On-Campus Employment/Federal Work-Study Assistance

Events

Career Services offers in-person and virtual events throughout the year including:

• Career Fairs
• Networking Events
• Career Readiness Workshops
• Job Shadowing Opportunities
• Internship Opportunities
• And more

Students can also match to jobs and internships based on their skills and interests using Maricopa Pipeline AZ, MCCCD's integrated virtual platform.
