Identify, plan, and achieve your career and academic goals with a Chandler-Gilbert Academic Advisor. Academic Advising Services at CGCC provide students guidance and support to identify a Field of Interest and program of study which will align with your skills, interests, and values and prepare you to enter the workforce, and/or transfer to a university, and complete a degree and certificate at Chandler-Gilbert. CGC advisors will help you navigate college resources, understand your program and degree requirements, and connect you with university transfer options.

All first-time-to-college students need to attend Coyote Kickoff, which provides new students with initial career and academic advising, orientation, and first semester planning. Students are encouraged to choose a Field of Interest (FOI) and program of study early, so they can be assigned an academic advisor for future support and academic planning.

Continuing CGC students and students transferring to CGC from another college or university that have earned 15 or more college-level transfer credits, are encouraged to meet individually with an academic advisor aligned with their Field of Interest. Appointments are available online and in-person.

Academic Advising Services are available virtually and online at at cgc.edu/advisement, and in-person at the Coyote Center Building & Bluford Hall on the Pecos and Williams Campuses.
